LOve all this product.. my dog smells and feels so good after a bath

Last year, the brand of shampoo and conditioner I had been using for my Boston Terrier (Floof) shut down. Since then, I’ve been searching for a replacement that could live up to what I was used to. I put a lot of work into his diet and exercise to keep him looking and feeling his best, so I wanted a grooming system (shampoo, conditioner and wipes) that would complement all of that and really show off his coat.

That turned out to be much harder than I expected. Over the course of a year, I put multiple products to the test but nothing gave me the same combination of shine and softness I had gotten from Floof. I had known about smith&burton for a while, so I finally decided to give their products a try. I’m very glad I did.

I’ve been using the Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner for about two months now and I’ve really put them to the test. The results have been excellent. Benny’s coat is incredibly shiny and soft after every bath and even better, that shine and softness actually hold up throughout his two-week bath interval. I use the Purifying Cleansing Wipes between baths to help keep him clean and fresh.

I’ve also noticed a significant reduction in his dander, which is especially impressive because Benny has a grass pollen allergy and spends a lot of time outside — he plays at least 1–2 hours of frisbee every day.

Boston Terriers aren’t exactly known for having silky, shiny coats. Their fur is short and naturally coarse but Benny easily has the best coat I’ve ever seen on a Boston Terrier. I get compliments on it constantly from anyone who meets him and somehow it looks even better after every bath.

I’ve tried a handful of different grooming products over the years and smith&burton is easily the best I’ve used. It’s not even close. The combination of shine, softness, cleanliness and how long the results last has really impressed me. I finally feel like I’ve found the grooming system I was looking for.

Pros:
• Excellent lather: Both the shampoo and conditioner lather extremely well. I was especially surprised by how well the conditioner lathered. A little goes a long way, particularly on a short-coated breed.
• Incredible shine: Leaves Benny’s coat noticeably shiny after every bath.
• Extremely soft coat: This is the softest his coat has ever been with any product I’ve used.
• Helps with dander: I’ve noticed a significant reduction in dander, even with his grass pollen allergy and how much time he spends outdoors.
• Long-lasting results: The shine and softness hold up remarkably well throughout his two-week bath interval.

Cons:
• Fragrance: The fragrance is pleasant, but it is a little strong. I’ve found that using the products in moderation — especially the shampoo — keeps it from being too potent. The scent also drops off dramatically after about 24 hours.
• Conditioner bottle: The conditioner is quite thick and can be difficult to get out of the bottle. I’m not sure how it would work with a pump but with the standard cap it takes a fair amount of squeezing to get the product out.

I’d also like to add that smith&burton’s customer service is some of the best I’ve experienced — quick to respond, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Talking with them has been a joy.

All of these products smell really nice and work very well!!

It wa amazing so easy to brush my dog and I don’t see any of her hair coming off her body on brushing comb and she was sitting comfortable letting me brush her thank you I am so happy

Absolutely love it. Love the whole product line. Coats are soft, manageable, skin healthy. Smells natural no heavy perfumes. Love that it's base is essential oils!

I have a Pomeranian with a thick coat. The shampoo/conditioner & detangler did a great job! The cologne smelled great!

The bottle is tiny but easy to use. I hope it works on the matting under her legs and ears.

I think this spray helps with with my anxiety ridden Pomeranian.

I have cavalier who get red spot or dry red spots in the chest. I think this shampoo works magic on rashes or fungus!
